Another installment in a series of racing games based on Pixar animated movies. The game was developed by Avalanche Software, creators of titles like Pure and Split/Second: Velocity. The title enables the player to control more than twenty customizable vehicles-characters (animated cars are the main protagonists of Cars). Among them there are Lightning McQueen and Cruz Ramirez, who prepares for an encounter with his rival Jackson Storm. The action takes place on twenty unique tracks. As player wins races, he gains access to various upgrades for his vehicles. Car development system is connected to the ability to unlock new characters, tracks and gameplay features like new game modes.
